A non-profit organization founded in 1914 to further the interests of amateur radio operators. Affiliated with the International Amateur Radio Association. Various membership levels of 1-3 years and lifetime. Membership includes the QST magazine and an email address that forwards your email to any existing account. Also offers printed and online technical support.

A very informative ham radio web site. The site is famous for its product review area and articles. In addition the site contains peer reviews of other web sites, active forums, DX packet spots, and recent amateur radio news.

fcc Name: FCC - U.S. Federal Communications Commission
An independent federal agency tasked with regulating interstate and international communications by radio, wire, television, cable and satellite in all 50 states, District of Columbia and the U.S. territories. Amateur radio regulations can be found in the "Title 47 - Telecommunication" document in chapter I "Part 97 - AMATEUR RADIO SERVICE". The license lookup area can be used to check your license expiration date or find other operators information.

QRZ is best known for being a web based amateur radio callsign lookup server. While the basic use of the service can be had with a free registration (donations welcome), varying levels of subscription ($19.95-$79.95) provides other services you may find useful. QRZ was one of the first 5,000 websites on the world wide web.

QSL.NET offers licensed amateur radio operators free web page space and a free email address that forwards your email to an existing account. The service has improved over the years, moving to faster mainframes allowing for over 31,000 web sites, over 54,000 e-mail forwarding accounts, and over 600 mailing lists.
